exam & consult
Plan for a 60 minute initial appointment where your problem/injury will be discussed and evaluated thoroughly. We will also go over treatment goals. When appropriate, you will finish the appointment with your first AMIT muscle treated.
second visit
This 45 minute appointment begins with going over the results of your exam and your recommended treatment plan. You will see visually the cause of your problem and clearly understand our solution. With any remaining time we will begin therapy.
treatment plan
The most common schedule is one 30 minute appointment weekly until all planned muscles are activated. It takes approximately 10 minutes to activate each muscle. AMIT gives us the unique ability to accelerate treatment depending on your circumstances. Care can also be drawn out as time and finances dictate.
re-exam
When your treatment plan is completed, you will have an appointment dedicated to retesting your muscles and reviewing your treatment goals. At that time we can also discuss any additional functional goals and future therapy.
maintenance
Proactive people tend to experience less crisis in life. After fixing your injury we will discuss a sensible maintenance plan. If you already have a primary holistic provider, we will recommend follow up maintenance with them.
cost
The initial exam is $180 and follow up appointments are charged at $75 per muscle activated. You will be presented a care plan with the estimated total cost of care during your second visit. A prepayment discount is available. Health Savings Accounts, credit card, check, and cash are accepted.
wear athletic clothes to your appointments
Due to the amount of bodywork, loose fitting and comfortable clothing is recommended.
Jeans and dresses make movement difficult. Denim in particular is painful on the treating doctor’s hands.
schedule pemf 2-3 hours per week
Just like any exercise program the benefits of cellular exercise are more abundant and faster realized with multiple sessions per week.
