NST or Nasal Specific Technique is a method of re-establishing the normal alignment and biomechanics of the cranial, facial, and sinus bones in the head. The procedure involves gently inserting a small balloon into the nasal chambers, or turbinates, and briefly inflating the balloon. The goal is to restore balance between your brain and body which can often eliminate many of the symptoms associated with cranial stress.
what to expect
Most people will feel a release of tension shortly after their first NST treatment. Side effects are uncommon, however, healing symptoms can include drainage, sore teeth and gums, and fatigue.
Exam
We will begin with a 20 minute exam including a detailed history and desired goals. The exam consists of palpating the cranial sutures to determine the degree of tenderness and tension.
treatment
NST involves one to 8 inflations in the nasal turbinates to unlock the bones of the head releasing pressure and tension. Each treatment takes about 10 minutes.
follow up
Depending on your case, you will be scheduled one to four weeks out for your next NST treatment. Occasionally, one treatment corrects the problem. However, in most cases, a series of 5 treatments are needed for lasting results. Rarely, regular treatments are recommended in chronic cases.

The initial NST exam and treatment is $210. Follow up NST treatments are $175.
